AirFest 2004
MacDill AFB
Tampa, Florida
April 3rd & 4th

AirFest 04 was another great opportunity for pilots from FJF Airshows to thrill hundreds of thousands of spectators for two great days in the Florida Sun.  Only a few clouds sprinkled the sky as mild temperatures keep the all of the participants and spectators in great sprits.
Flying three different airplanes for a total of 18 flights in only two days during this show was quite a task.  John Banner, John Burdin and Wally Sundey did a great job, and couldn't have been accomplished without the steady work of Scott Smith coordinating with the "air boss' and the pilots.
Besides our preplanned slots in the airshow, we always have at least one plane on stand by, and ready to go on a moments notice in the event of a delay or other problem during the day.

This is our tenth year performing at Airfest and twelfth year doing full-scale airshows.
