Please note; All pilots flying turbine powered aircraft must present their current AMA Turbine Waiver / License upon registration.

All non-US / non-AMA pilots please check with the AMA http://www.modelaircraft.org to verify that you are in compliance, and meet all AMA requirements for turbine operation in the U.S.  Look for Document #510-A page #6 under special note dealing with foreign contestants attending AMA sanctioned events.  This information is also contained on this website.  Go to the home page, and follow the JPO Link to find the AMA documents.
      
         It is the pilots responsibility to take this action to insure his / her ability to fly.

AMA turbine weight regulations will be followed.  If you have a problem with this issue, please do not complain.  Contact the AMA and discuss it with them.  If you have a special weight waiver from the AMA, you must present it prior to flight.

There will be NO low passes below 15 feet, and all passes will be over the grass west of the runway.  There will be NO "high-energy" maneuvers at the flight-line.  These two rules will be vigorously enforced.

Official flying will be from approx 8:30am until 4:45pm each day.  Pilots may fly at any time as long as appropriate light is available for safe operations under AMA guidelines.  At no time will other than model jet (DF or Turbine) aircraft be allowed to fly.

**All pets must be kept on a leash at all times.**

Transmitter impound will be closely monitored, and frequency pin abuse will be frowned upon.  We recommend the use of a DSC cord while working on you plane in the pits.

We will have limited on-site secure overnight aircraft storage.

Call today and make your hotel reservation.  Rooms are limited at our host hotel (Green Gables) which is only 5 minutes from the airport.  Be sure to tell them you are making reservations for the FIJR, as we have arranged for special rates.

We have a limited number of tents available for pilots and vendors.  All tents will be set up and ready by Wednesday morning.  All tent orders must be pre-paid, and are reserved on a first ordered and paid basis.  Our vendor has limited quantities so we advise that you order early.  Please call regarding availability of additional tent sizes.

Through the generous support of the Jet Pilots Organization, pilots who pre-register and are JPO members in good standing will receive a 50% discount on their registration fee.

Again this year we are offering shirts and caps.  The Shirts are high quality Outer Banks brand golf style with a collar.  The caps are also be very nice and high quality.  Both shirts and caps will have the FIJR Logo embroidered on them.  We must receive your order and payment no later than October 5th  to insure that your order will be delivered on time.
