The Florida International Jet Rally has become one of the most popular, and well attended R/C Jet events held each year.  Both US, and an increasing number of international pilots have made Lake Wales their primary US event destination.  Each of these participants brings friends and associates with them to Lake Wales, and the FIJR.  Spectators, R/C and non-R/C are continuing to increase along with the pilot count.  Simply put, Lake Wales is the place to be the first weekend in November each year.
